Tuesday in Baltimore

Good Morning Baltimore!
Pigeon in trouble
 A pigeon in distress.

Wedged in there pretty good.

With a little help he's on his way again.

Big Day for Birds in Bob's Backyard!

Last night we went to Camden Yards to watch the O's play the Toronto Bluejays with some tickets my boss graciously provides. Toronto was winning for most of the game but all that changed when Baltimore’s Mark Reynolds stepped up to the plate. The O's were trailing 3 to 1 and the bases were loaded when Reynolds blasted home his first career Grand Slam that powered the Orioles to a 5 - 3 victory over Toronto. This was our second visit to see the O's play and both times they won. Candy and I would like to think we had a little something to do with that.

The very next day, what do I see in my yard for the very first time?

Where's Waldo?

My first Oriole!
An Oriole makes an appearance in our yard for the first time.

A quick pose and then he was gone. Coincidence? I think not.

The end is nowhere in sight.

An unknown arrival. I plan to look him up in Bob's big book of birds.
